Terms & Conditions
The following are the terms & conditions for the contest:
- Competition entry is FREE.
- You MUST register and provide your email address to enter this competition.
- The competition will run from 10th March 2009 to 1st June 2009.
- The competition is not open to employees of the promoter, their friends or families or anyone involved in the running of the competition.
- The prize for the open stream is an Eee PC. There is no cash alternative.
- The prize for the beginner stream is an Eee PC. There is no cash alternative.
- Entries for the beginner stream must not use recursion.
- All entries must package their player module up as a JAR file, including the source code.
- Winners will be notified by email.
- In the event that we cannot contact a winner by the 12th June 2009, the promoter will keep the prize awarded open for 3 weeks and will try to contact the winner during this period. If the promoter still fails to contact the winner, the promoter will award the prize to another entry.
- For winners' details, please send an SAE to the address below.
- Competition entry is restricted via the Internet only.
- The promoter does not accept any responsibilities for errors or omissions received. It is recognized that at times genuine mistakes can occur, in the event of a dispute regarding the competition, the decision of the promoter will be final.
- The promoter reserves the right to cancel the competition at any time for any reason, and can change the terms and conditions without prior notice.
- Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and agree to them when registering and submitting their entry.
- The promoter has the right to withdraw the winning prize if the winner has subsequently been found to be in breach of any of these rules.
- These terms and conditions will be governed by English law.
- Winners will be notified by email.
